Lotus has created an excellent road-ready track car since 2009 and its newest iteration bolsters the automaker's reputation. Power is supplied by a supercharged 3.5L V6 creating 400hp that, paired with magnificent weight distribution, lightweight bonded aluminum chassis, and superb traction, creates an exhilarating and responsive ride that is hard to find in 2018. The steering is lively, light, and reactive, making you feel like you are in total control of this British track star. Acceleration is quick coming out of turns and the 0-60mph time of 4.3 seconds along with a top speed of 172mph, is more than enough to face-off against the likes of many other supercars on the road today. Outside of the engine bay is a sleeker, sharper front fascia, while the rear end was reworked giving the car the perfect finish to an already intimidating look. The interior is spacious and comfortable. Seating is soft and buttons inside are redesigned with an ergonomically better look. Overall, the redesign was more of a revival and Lotus hit it out of the park.
